Does your family have any weekly traditions? It can be hard to maintain traditions in everyday life lately – between odd practice times for kids and what feels like music concerts every month. One way our family tries to come together each week is by celebrating Sunday dinner by making it fancy! This tradition began about five years ago, when my daughter was eight years old and my son was three. We simply dimmed the lights, lit some taper candles, and broke out the cloth napkins. As our children have gotten older, they have become more involved in the weekly ritual – helping to set the table, create decor for our tablescape, and assisting in cooking the meal. Of course, one staple that always makes an appearance at our fancy dinners is our paper placemats. With a wide array of colors to choose from, there's always one that fits the occasion perfectly.
